Dear HLT Readers,
Welcome to the August issue of HLT. To start with I have a lot of exiting news for you …
As you will have noticed, you can enjoy the new modern design and layout of HLT. There may still be some teething problems but bear with us as we will get there eventually. Your feedback and suggestions will be more than welcome. We will do our best to take them on board. But I have to say HLT now looks fresh and is more user friendly.
We are enjoying a very inspiring Pilgrims teacher training summer in Canterbury. We hope you can join us next year. There are many ways to come to Pilgrims… private funds, school funding, teacher association’s; perhaps you will be successful applying for your Erasmus+ grant, or possibly you will be the winner of the Bonnie Tsai Scholarship for 2019. The scholarship competition will be run again and this time the theme is 21st Century Skills. Anybody can apply … . Finally, look at the Poems section Poems section where two seasoned TEFLers, Alan Maley and Mario Rinvolucri have decided to share their poems with us. This is unique and not to be missed.
