Ukrainian Illustrators on Instagram
From the Editor
Twice a month, Jamie Keddie sends out the LessonStream Post – a story or storytelling idea for the classroom. It's free to sign up and you can do so here: https://lessonstream.com
Here is an example of what you might get.
On Tuesday, we went LIVE on YouTube to explore the idea that to an extent, any war will be defined by the images that come out of it.
With this in mind, I was looking for some images from Ukraine that might help us to make sense of the current situation.
My search led me to a community of Ukrainian illustrators who have been documenting their thoughts, emotions and experiences and sharing their images on Instagram.
Here is an edited excerpt from the LIVE in which I do the following:
- Suggest how to use the illustrations with your students
- Show you how to create a slideshow on the Instagram app
