Dear Colleague and HLT Reader,

As I start writing these notes, Spring is upon us in the northern hemisphere. That magic feeling of warmth in the air, blooming flowers everywhere, longer days, lighter evenings. Time to shed that heavy winter coat, and spend time outdoors in a suddenly more colorful world. When you think about it, it’s not so difficult to grasp just what must have moved Vivaldi to compose his famed Spring movement in his just as celebrated Four Seasons? Or what inspired Monet, Botticelli, Van Gogh and Dali when they tried to capture on capture on canvas the essence of Spring. Let’s enjoy the sweet warmth and the hint of renaissance for which Spring a perfect metaphor.

At Pilgrims, Spring means getting ready for our Summer school. As many of you will already know, Pilgrims has been running its Teacher Development courses in Ireland since 2022. We were in Limerick last year, this year we will be working in beautiful Galway, a vibrant, swinging town on the west coast of Ireland. Please take a look at the  courses on offer:

Our courses range from Motivation to SEL, to CLIL, to Teaching Teenagers, we feel there’s something of interest for everyone. On top of our core courses, we will continue to feature a very rich afternoon/evening programme with a formidable array of workshops on topics both academic and non-academic.

Apart from our regular Summer programme in Galway, Pilgrims will also be running a one week course in stunning Segovia, Spain.
